Haven't checked in on maid guy or school rumble. What are they about? Best characters? Number of episodes?

I'm also hearing a lot about Ouran Host Club and Fate Stay Night. Though I've checked in on Ouran, I still have to look into Fate Stay night.
Ouran Host club features a male hosting high school service for a wealthy school of flourishing young women. However, when a new member joins in, each member of the club gets a special lesson in love that makes for a fun and funny sequence of events!

Maid Guy is basically concentrated win. No idea what actual plot was; I was too busy laughing at the muscular maid-man's various antics.
Fate Stay Night is largely negligible, there are better stuff out there. H-game converted to anime. The only remarkable thing about it is that the introduction of the stock-loli-character actually shifts things into high gear, and from her inception onward, the show is alright. Surprise death half-way through is actually surprising, and the male lead's method of assistance is hinted at decently in the beginning and executed with proper pacing. Gilgamesh was also immensely amusing. Nothing truly mind blowing though, the animation is a bit stale which is a minus given the show's emphasis on action and standard epsiode count, and the while the lead's power's pacing is great, he himself has been seen roughly a hundred times, and offers very little in the way of likeability. Tono upstages him every chance possible.

Gilgamesh is still one of my personal favorite Anime and takes a broader sense of thinking to truly enjoy. The series is also good for those who enjoy a morbid twist to their series. Those who check into it might also consider Serial Experiments Lain and the epic and post apocolyptic Ergo Proxy.

I'm currently Watching Get backers and Disgaea
It's sometimes hard for me to commit to watching anime. I started watching Naruto about a year ago, so I finally decided to finish it, since it's something left unfinished. It's....interesting...enough to keep me watching it, atleast.

Naruto turned me off the same way inuyasha and bleach did. they're too generic or shallow for me to really get into. The whole Revenge, revenge, romance on the side, revenge, plot thickener, filler, filler, slashing formula isn't a working idea that really captures my though process.
I do know what you mean, Nih, but I figure, I started it. Might as well finish it. Otherwise, I have to add it to the list of many things I've never finished.
Hmmm....well new stuff I'm watching uhh...none at the moment ^^:;; however I am finishing up some other anime I started like, Chibi vampire, Peach girl, and for old time sakes I was watching Chobits :3 since I am cosplaying as Chii, figured I might as well watch it ^^:;;;

You realize after saying that we're all going to want to see pictures of this cosplay.
I should note that I persuaded her to cosplay as Chii. ^^; I even told her which outfit she should make. ALL MY DOING! Ha ha ha!

What about Zombie-loan? Has anyone else ever heard of it? It's a fantastic anime about a girl who can see the dead and a special agency that loans out life to the dearly passed so that they have time to complete unfinished business.

ATM, I've been watching Clannad and Higurashi No Naku Koro. If you haven't already, you should all watch Higurashi. It's sort of like Elfen Lied, only more... demented and without ghost-armed girls. xD
You can get more demented than Elfen Lied? I think it's the apocolypse now. v_v;;; *sighs and gets the shotgun* Stupid zombies....

O_O Elfen lied was...unique....
Elfen Lied was a very good anime I think because it didn't use storylines that have been recycled over and over again. It's one of my pet peeves when I watch an anime if I can predict the entire storyline and ending after episode 2 - i've lost count of the number of times I have done that. Animes like Elfen Lied on the other hand kept me guessing almost all the way to the end

That's one of the reasons why I'm still sticking with D.Gray man. It's becoem my favorite anime because it lacks predictablility. There's always a twist or turn you weren't expecting.
One of the things that will keep my interest in an anime when the plot fails is the character ideas or themes. Gilgamesh was a deep seated thriller and psychological challenge that tested your beliefs in the ego of man and the the ambition to challenge reality but towards the end it began to fail and condradict itself. What kept me interested was the depth of the humna illusion as far as character suffering. (Wow that makes me sound like a psychopath) what I mean is when you begin to feel the pain of a character through the creator's idea or personification of human suffering you've really got a treat!

Sounds like you'd be a Blood+ Fan too. My first anime ever was Ninja scroll and after that I moved onto this wonderful invention called betterman. The series I watch in general tend to be a little off the deep side. I've yet to pick up the crazy zanny ones like Azumanaga or god forbid Excell Saga.

I need to finish Samurai Deeper Kyo and Tengen Topper Gurren Lagann. TTGL is amusing, to say the least, and is basically one of the reasons I love Gainax so much. SDK is fairly generic, but it's a good kind of generic.
Watched last episode of Tenchi Muyo 3rd. Brain melted after lacking context and witnessing subject matter that seemed to vary from 'lol gods' to 'wtf.'
Last movies I've seen were the prequel to Rorouni Kenshin, and the 3 ep Cutey Honey.
Disgaea is the best!! :pblob1:
